LATEST NEWS 22nd October 2020 Season suspended again.

Well no matter how much effort we have gone to, to try and restart our Wigan Pool League, the Government today has basically stopped it before it has restarted.

So with changes to the pub closing times now at 10pm, coupled with changes to the rule of 6 for indoor sports, this is basically making the playing of pool unworkable. On top of that, with the increase in infection rates and alert level now at 4, meaning transmission is 'HIGH', more teams may and will have players not wanting to play in fear of catching the virus. This in turn may effect their health and ability to work.

With all this considered we have decided to NOT restart the pool season on 1st October 2020 as previously planned.

So until further notice all planned matches, competitions, league games etc. are therefore once again suspended.
