Planned Restart Strategy SEASON NOW SUSPENDED.

Updated: Sep 22, 2020

Hello to you all. The committee have met and have decided on the following measures to restart the season with the following conditions. Not everyone will be happy with what we have implemented but this is the best that we can do in the situation that we all find ourselves in at present. There is a lot to take in so please read through and share with your teams.

Wanting to finish before Christmas we have taken the decision to scrap both the 3 man team and Brent Hindley comps as they had either not been drawn or very little played. Finishing before Christmas will allow us to hopefully run a short season from January through to May to realign us for the following season to start August/September 2021. Due to fitting the remainder of comps in, the rounds will come thick and fast so if your players are in them and win a round, they need to be checking the website for the next round. Some are played week after week so the committee will meet in between, in order to draw them. The timeline of the remaining fixtures are lower down but the pages will be updated when they can. There will not be any time to allow cancelled fixtures. If a player cannot make the date, it must be played before the designated night, or players cancelling or not showing up will be scratched. We will text delegates individually (probably at weekend) to inform of outstanding fees, amendments will be made due to cancelled comps. These will need to be paid in full by the 2nd of November meeting to avoid expulsion from the league No exceptions. These can be paid at the meeting or by bank transfer. After this date any team, not paid, will be immediate removed. We will also post guidelines on distancing and hygiene on a separate post before matches resume. We urge you to follow each venues rules regarding this. Any venues still not allowing matches come October have 3 choices. Reverse the fixture or play at either Q8 or another available venue like St Thomas’s if they are away. On the downside the Earl Of Balcarres are unable to finish the season so results will be removed from the tables. TIMELINE
